U.S. Customs Launches Electronic Refunds February 6

Starting February 6, 2026 U.S. Customs will no longer issue paper refund checks.  The only way to obtain refunds from U.S. Customs will be via electronic payment.  Importers must register for an ACE account to obtain any refunds from CBP, including possible refunds if IEEPA tariffs are eventually overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.
