The Port of Savannah is critical to the economy of Georgia and the greater southeastern United States region at large. Even though we are staring down some potential tough economic times ahead, the port’s management team sees this as the perfect time to double down on port expansion projects that will grow the terminal’s ability to handle ever larger container ships and increasing volumes.
